CREATIVITY AND EXPLORATION FOR PROBLEM SOLVERS

 “Look! What's that?

One of the snakes floating in front of my eyes grabbed its own tail and

started twirling mockingly in front of my eyes. Suddenly I woke up and

spent the rest of the night elaborating my hypothesis.”

It was 1861 and August Kekulé was the first to visualise the structure

of benzene.

In the majority of career sectors and aspects of our life, innovation and problem-solving

are amongst the most valuable attributes we can employ.

Sometimes however, we are so focused on eliminating the problem that

we don't spend enough time understanding "who" problems are and how

they are made.

Sometimes we need to go beyond analytical tools, evaluation and rational thinking, and tap into our deepest resources to find the solution we are looking for.

OBJECTIVES:

In this workshop, we will learn how to redraw our problems’ borders and

find solutions where we hadn’t looked before because sometimes real

solutions inhabit surprising new spaces.

We will learn how to arouse creativity and systemic thinking to drive

us towards elegant, fulfilling, sustainable solutions and closer

to our goals
